Meet Toledo Oral Surgeon Dr. Patrick J. McCabe
PATRICK MCCABE, DDS
Dr. Patrick J. McCabe was born and raised in southern New York. He attended Michigan State University, receiving his B.S. degree in Physiology in 1984. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Michigan in 1989.
Dr. McCabe is a veteran, serving as a general dentist in the United States Air Force from 1989 through 1993. He received National Defense Service Medals for meritorious service during Operations Desert Shield and Storm. In 1992 he was awarded Company grade Officer of the Quarter for the 30th Medical Group Hospital, Vandenberg Air Force Base.
He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at New York Medical College, Westchester County Medical Center in 1997, where he received a specialty certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. McCabe entered private practice in Toledo, Ohio in 1997. Since 1998 he has been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry/Oral Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He is a member of the Toledo Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, Great Lakes Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. McCabe has been recognized for providing community service to Dental Options patients and those with mental and developmental disabilities. He is an active member in the Luke Society and makes frequent medical mission trips to the Republic of Honduras in Central America.
